Helios Laser Center is proud to offer the Cutera Secret RF, a new microneedling treatment that improves signs of aging skin. It treats fine lines, wrinkles, stretch marks and scars with little to no downtime. Secret RF uses microneedles to deliver fractional Radio Frequency (RF) energy into varying levels of the skin including the deeper layers where treatment is most beneficial. This unique delivery of energy allows us to achieve optimal results on all skin types.
Secret RF is an easy, safe and effective procedure that can be performed in a quick, 30 - 45 minute treatment session. To achieve the optimal effect, 3-4 Secret RF treatments are recommended. You’ll start to notice results after your second treatment, but optimal results appear 3 months after the last treatment.

Cutera Secret RF Microneedling Pre Care Instructions
No anti-coagulants and blood-thinning medications and supplements 7 days prior to treatment, when possible. If you are on a prescription medication, please speak with your Doctor before discontinuing any medication. OTC supplements and medications to avoid: Motrin, fish oil, gingko biloba, turmeric, and cucurmin 7 days before your Microneedling.
No new permanent makeup or injectables on or near the treatment area. Please ensure you have allowed adequate time (at least 2 weeks) for any permanent makeup or injectables to heal prior to Microneedling.
Sunburnt skin cannot be treated. Skin that is thin, sensitized or compromised in any way may not be treated until fully healed.

Do not use products containing Hydroquinone, bleaching creams, Retin-A, retinol, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic/salicylic acids or astringents for at 5 days prior to treatment. Please advise your provider if you are currently using any prescription creams or products.
Do not pluck or wax the area at least one week prior to Microneedling.
Do not use bleach or “Nair”-type products on the area for two weeks prior to treatment. This can cause irritation and burns to the skin.

Pregnancy
Patients with cardiac pacemaker or defibrillator
Patients with active implantable metal device in treatment area
Any active condition in the treatment area, such as sores, psoriasis, eczema, or rash. Patients with Vitiligo may depigment.
Patients with any Auto Immune disease that is active

AFTER your treatment avoid excessive sun exposure and tanning beds or self-tanning sprays/lotions for at least 2 weeks and in between Microneedling session.
IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU CONTACT ME IN THE EVENT OF EXCESSIVE OR PROLONGED SWELLING OR REDNESS OR IF A BLISTER OCCURS.
